Natal Promise Reading/ Planetary Remediation

This is a wonderful place to begin your engagement with this wonderful and ancient art. In a natal chart reading, we will cover major themes in your life, discover parts of your character, and also any pertinent topics you would like to cover. The natal chart is a timeless representation of your fate patterning.

The chart is cast in whole sign houses as it portrays an objective lens into the circumstances which unfold. We’ll also layer onto this survey of your life with traditional techniques/significations such as the incorporation of decans, triplicity lords, terms, antiscias, and synodic cycles. From this foundation, there are a few other options, such as bringing fixed star parans or remedial practices.

This reading focuses on circumstances and events and how those molds the character inhabiting the chart.

The second type of reading offered is called a remediation reading. Astrology provides an excellent diagnosis of what is to be expected in life and fate patterning, but organically, the question of what to do about it arises. Planetary remediations are a practice that brings back the magical roots of this practice and is a staple of practicing Vedic Astrology.

It is suggested that one has a firm grasp on what *is their natal promise as this entire reading is informed within those premises. The focus here is practices that will allow the querent to more efficiently and harmoniously work and integrate all seven spheres that can be seen with the naked eye. Daily practices, mantra practices, and theurgy are all examples, though not an exhaustive list, of suggestions that will be given. This is a slow and steady process that requires daily practice and consistency. *not happen within a few days.

The natal chart and its positions that correlate with one's birth is a timeless representation of the circumstances and nature of that given person. This foundation can serve as a clock when we impose the present planetary positions onto the natal chart (radix). Saturn Return occurs when transiting Saturn is back to its position in the natal chart. This revolution can span anywhere between 27-29 years. Saturn is the slowest of the visible seven planets and can be thought of as the natural structure and system that is imposed upon that which is incarnate. Saturn is like the winter, for they are both excessively cold and impart life-restricting limitations. The coming of winter is a reckoning of what was done in preparation for it in ancient times for it. Saturn's effect comes through time, often an incredibly long time and its unfolding can either shape us towards mastery or ground us down to dust.

This revolution can also be thought of as the astrological timing for maturation. Wherever Saturn resides within the natal chart, the return can coincide with those topics becoming denser that either serve as scaffolds for a better structure or can negate like the bite of a blizzard. I believe that we can orient towards a reconstruction with awareness and perception. What helps facilitate this process is to give it context, as what has occurred in the previous cycle will repeat in the new one. What was the shape that circumstances molded our life? What is within our agency to affect and what is not? By knowing this distinction, we can manage the passage of time more effectively.

We will achieve this by first looking through the entire previous Saturn cycle from the opening square (Natal Saturn is making a superior square to transiting Saturn), the opposition, and the closing square (natal Saturn is receiving a superior square from transiting Saturn) which leads into the return itself. The purpose of this is to construct or clarify the context which frames how and what the experience of Saturn is for oneself through the use of timing such as profection years and distributions.

A Solar Revolution is a chart cast when the Sun returns to the exact position it was when one was born. We will see which themes are being highlighted in this personal new year as the solar return will always reflect what is promised in the natal chart. As such we will be reviewing what was covered in the previous session. This insight will help align effort and attention so that actions taken can have a truly lasting effect.

In the extended options, we will layer in extra timing techniques along with the solar return such as profections//fidaria in order to get a detailed survey of what the landscape of your year has in store for you.
